Brooks Women's Ghost 3 Running Shoe I wore out. First off, let me say I was initially apprehensive about spending $100+ on a pair of shoes, especially when you wear them out as much as I do. I'm military, so I run almost every day. But as soon as I put the 3s on, I knew I was going to buy them. The 4s were no different. They are so light weight and comfortable, it's unbelievable. I had shin splints when I bought the 3s, and they helped me get rid of them.The thing I like the most about the Ghosts other than the comfort, is the fact that you don't have to break them in! They come ready to go! (as a side note, I bought the Asics Kayano 17, and returned them the next day because for me, they were really uncomfortable- which makes sense because the Kayano 17 is a stability shoe, and I am a neutral runner) so I gave the Brooks a try-on and it was immediate love! I bought the blue version, which is very attractive, with just the right amount of feminine embellishment in the logo on the shoe, with dark blue and very nice turquoise accents. Personally, I don't like pink/purple/sparkly shoes.... These are SO lightweight, and I have no foot pain, blisters, anything, from their maiden run : ) The shoes upper is very breathable/flexible...
